Isolated Island (Map)
The noisy tribe was bustling with noise, mixed with the sounds of drinking, scolding, and groaning.
This small tribe was called the Pang Yu Tribe, consisting of eleven people, established by wanderers who arrived a month ago.
They had no idea why they had suddenly appeared in this strange world, only knowing that when they opened their eyes, they were naked, lying on a damp beach. Their initial feelings of curiosity and confusion gradually turned into fear and numbness as time passed. This was because they encountered prehistoric creatures – dinosaurs!
These massive beasts ruled this land, posing a great threat to humans.
They explored everywhere, trying to find answers. However, they fell into a great crisis. Every step was filled with unknown dangers, and their survival became increasingly difficult.
After experiencing death and resurrection multiple times, they discovered they could not escape this place. Facing this reality, they could only accept it reluctantly and strive to adapt to this harsh environment. They learned how to avoid dinosaur attacks, find food, and even attempted to connect with other survivors, which is how the "Pang Yu Tribe" was formed.
The tribe's settlement was located on a peninsula known as South One in the game Ark: Survival Evolved, also called "the place where dreams begin" by countless players.

Basically, everyone in the tribe had experienced death once or several times, whether it was being bitten by Piranhas in the water, swallowed whole by a Titan Python, attacked by a Dimetrodon, or even accidentally injuring a wandering Triceratops while hunting...
The tribe's main dwelling was a large thatched house built by all members over about five days. Only the tribal leader had a private room; other members slept on the ground when tired. Most tribal members, like primitive people, wore simple grass skirts, not only for coolness but also for convenience in reproductive activities.
The tribe's combat strength was currently limited to stone axes, stone pickaxes, and spears. Because the surrounding area was relatively safe, the tribe had not been attacked by any carnivorous dinosaurs since moving here, and their vigilance had completely dropped.
At this moment, the place was brightly lit. Two rows of torches stood upright in the hall, illuminating the room as if it were daytime. There were also campfires and other living facilities on the ground. Everyone was indulging themselves, men and women mixed together, the air filled with the stimulating scent of hormones, completely unlike their cautious demeanor when searching for food during the day.
However, a young man was squatting in a corner, watching everything with cold eyes, as if the tribe's grand party had nothing to do with him. The alcohol they were drinking was brought back by the young man, a gesture that even earned him praise from the leader. These days, they had been eating berries and roasted meat, and this alcohol made them nostalgic for the comfortable modern life, where they didn't have to risk their lives hunting every day or worry about food.
The young man watched as one tribal member finished releasing their life energy, and then another would take their place. The female participant continually made suggestive sounds, repeating the cycle. Watching all this, the young man felt no emotion.
He had been here for a month, joining several tribes successively. This was his third tribe, but they were all the same. They had no fighting spirit, living with the idea of just being comfortable for one more day. Yet, in times of crisis, they would turn their knives on each other. This Pang Yu Tribe had no integrity whatsoever; four unfortunate souls had already died by treachery.
They were originally a motley crew seeking warmth, but in life-threatening situations, they revealed the darkness of human nature.
The previous two tribes no longer existed. The first tribe was destroyed by a pack of Raptors not long after the young man joined. After reviving, those tribe members disappeared, and no one returned to the tribal ruins ravaged by the Raptors. The second tribe was destroyed because it was too close to the water; a Spinosaurus that came ashore dismantled their settlement. Their primitive weapons caused little damage to the Spinosaurus. Seeing it devour people one by one, fear spread rapidly in everyone's hearts. The tribe members fled in all directions without any resistance, and the young man took this opportunity to escape.
Based on his long-term observations, these humans who arrived with him had no intention of taming dinosaurs. Accustomed to comfort in modern society, they were terrified just seeing carnivorous dinosaurs charge at them.
The young man was disappointed, utterly disappointed in these people.
Finally, the young man, having made up his mind, got up, walked to a corner, assumed a comfortable position, and went to sleep, spending his last night in this tribe.
Early the next morning, the young man left the tribe. After crossing a small stream, he walked along the beach to the left without looking back. Although South One was safe, it was resource-poor, and to develop, one needed to go to places with more resources, but those places would be even more dangerous, potentially costing him his life.
Here, there were Dodos and Water Dragon Beasts aplenty. For variety, there were Coelacanths and Sabertooth Salmons in the pond, enough for them to live comfortably. As long as they didn't provoke the Triceratops, they could live quite comfortably. But the young man's ambitions lay elsewhere; he didn't want to stay with these unmotivated survivors. He was a man destined to conquer the entire Isolated Island by land, sea, and air.
After walking for about ten minutes, the young man saw a sea cliff blocking his path. Without hesitation, he jumped into the water and swam around behind the cliff. The young man glanced at the not-too-distant beach before continuing to swim towards the beach ahead. Upon reaching the sand, he walked forward again and stopped before a dense forest. This was an area the members of the Pang Yu Tribe had never set foot in. Behind him was a vast beach, with many Dodos and Water Dragon Beasts around, already beginning to forage. Occasionally, a few Morellatops and what looked like car-sized Carbonemys could be seen pacing back and forth. Oh, and Ichthyornis too.

The young man entered the forest and let out a whistle. The sound echoed in the quiet forest, as if awakening sleeping giants. Moments later, two massive figures emerged from the woods with heavy footsteps. Their bodies towered several meters high, their steps steady and powerful, making the earth tremble with each stride. Following closely behind these two behemoths were several smaller creatures, weaving nimbly through the trees, quickly catching up to the procession. When the two dinosaurs reached the young man, they stopped and let out low growls.

One of them affectionately nudged the young man with its distinctive large head. This dinosaur was about 3.7 meters tall, a Parasaurolophus, one of the Hadrosauridae. Its most famous feature was the crest on its head, formed by the premaxilla and nasal bones, extending backward from the head like a magnificent crown. The Parasaurolophus in Ark, after genetic modification, grew to 10 meters long and weighed 3 tons.
The young man smiled and stroked the Parasaurolophus's head, feeling its warmth and affection.

The other massive figure and the seven smaller creatures were Dimetrodons. The Dimetrodons had slender bodies, and their heads sported two irregular crests resembling semi-ovals or battle axes. These smaller Dimetrodons were on average about 1.25 meters tall and approximately 3.7 meters long. Among them, one large Dimetrodon was twice the size of the others, standing 2.5 meters tall, about 6-7 meters long, and weighing half a ton.

These dinosaurs were tamed by him half a month after arriving in this world. The taming method here was a bit different from that in the game, closely related to the human implants. Wáng Jùnjié, after many experiments, summarized this taming method. It was not much different from the rough knockout-and-feed method in the game, but it required controlling the implant within the dinosaur's body through the human implant for it to obey.
For the past week, Wáng Jùnjié had wanted to tame the beginner's protector – the Triceratops – but with his current conditions, he could not tame this creature. Wáng Jùnjié had also tried shooting tranquilizer arrows at the Triceratops from a high vantage point, but this place was not like the game where they would stand still to be shot. As soon as they sensed danger, they would flee. When the Triceratops realized it couldn't hit them, it fled. He lured a few along the way, but without exception, after several attempts, he gave up.
