"Secrets and treasure?" The Black Wolf's eyes lit up, a glint of greed flickering within them. "That must mean there's some kind of fortune nearby!"
"Is now really the time for this?" Lu Chen spun around abruptly and glared at him. "We have to figure out the Guardian's intentions first, or we'll all be in danger!" He was anxious; the Black Wolf had nothing but money on his mind and was completely oblivious to the danger right in front of them.
They moved cautiously along the direction in which the beast had fled. The walls on both sides of the passage were covered in ancient murals that seemed to tell the story of a forgotten history.
