Let us start with the old villa of the Nie family. It was an old villa built by the British in the 1940s, a pure British-style castle. In the front courtyard stood a very large, square fountain. On both sides were dragon-head water spouts made of pure white marble, though due to years of neglect, the heads had long since ceased to spray water. The pool was covered in green algae, looking lifeless and stagnant. The greenery in the yard, left untrimmed, had grown terrifyingly thick, giving the place a somber, eerie air at first glance. An old man with thinning white hair, dressed in a cyan suit, stood by the white marble Roman columns at the front door. Beside him were two young men of the same height, with the same pale complexion and slender builds; even their suits were of a similar cut. One of the young men sat in a wheelchair, while the other stood with his hands in his pockets. Both possessed the same somber yet handsome and noble countenance, their expressions identical, as if they were twins.
