Myriad Bones Abyss.
The name itself was saturated with boundless intent of death. This place was no realm for the living; legend had it that it was the endless cemetery formed by the final decisive battle of ancient gods and demons, where both perished and their withered bones piled up together. The walls of the abyss were not made of rock and soil, but of layer upon layer of gigantic bones of horrifyingly high density, compressed, cemented, and air-dried into a pale giant wall. Boundless, too high to look up at, and too deep to fathom. The bone walls were densely covered with deep holes and ravines left by the slashing of swords and axes, the tearing of sharp claws, and various terrifying energy impacts that had long vanished in the long river of time. Without sun or moon, the vault of heaven was forever tightly sealed by a layer of dark red, foul Qi that resembled congealed rust yet slowly writhed and flowed. That was not fog or mist, but the intertwining of dense grievances, curses, and the desperate Malevolent Qi left behind by the fall of gods and demons that had not dissipated for hundreds of millions of years. It hung like a dome of sticky blood plasma, eternally weighing down upon the upper reaches of the Myriad Bones Abyss, cutting off all light from the heavens and all vitality.
Dead silence.
