Deep in the Myriad Bones Abyss lies a region so forsaken that even the dim, congealed light falling from the crimson dome refuses to illuminate it. This place is called the Extinction Crypt, a name that sends a colder shiver down one's spine than the Myriad Bones Abyss itself. The abyss walls are no longer cobbled together from the pale, withered bones of gods and demons; instead, they are strewn with colossal skeletons, far larger and shaped much closer to a certain terrifying "standard."
Some sit cross-legged, others lie on their sides. Their postures vary, yet without exception, they exude a futile struggle to maintain some semblance of dignity before their demise. The skeletons resemble mountain ranges, with certain massive ribs curving like arched bridges, piercing deep into the floor of fathomless bone dust. Light sources here are even scarcer, provided only by the extremely faint, feeble halos radiating from the gigantic skeletons themselves. These are no warm radiances, but pale, cold, dead-still phosphorescent flames, resembling the final gathered gazes of countless unwilling residual souls, silently scrutinizing any living creature that dares to trespass into this returning void of extinction.
Silence.
