Shen Chuan fixed his gaze on Jiang Tang's face. Her complexion was terrible, pale to the point of being entirely devoid of color. When his eyes dropped to her forehead, he paused, gently brushing aside her wispy, scattered strands of hair to reveal a faint scar.
He remembered clearly that four years ago, there had been no such mark on her face. Observing the depth of the scar closely, he deduced that it must be a recent one.
The scar was not long, looking very much like the kind of mark caused by hitting a hard rock.
