"Who the hell do you think you are? How dare you stick your nose into Young Master Li's business? Take your filthy hands off right now!" Li Shuo yelled aggressively at Tang Hao, his voice dripping with arrogance and disdain.
Faced with this sudden verbal assault, a flash of coldness crossed Tang Hao's eyes.
He slowly opened his mouth, his voice low and powerful: "Hoh... If it were the past, anyone who dared speak to me like that would already be dead. You can consider yourself lucky, otherwise..." His words carried a commanding majesty that could not be underestimated.
Tang Hao's gaze made Li Shuo's skin crawl, and an inexplicable fear welled up in his heart. He instinctively stepped back while simultaneously signaling the two bodyguards behind him.
Both bodyguards were well-trained experts. They reacted immediately, rapidly closing in on Tang Hao with formidable auras emanating from their bodies.
"Oh no, this guy loves stirring up trouble. Daring to challenge Young Master Li in public like this—those two bodyguards are experts, how could they possibly let him off?" Bai Xiaoxi watched the scene unfold, a wave of anxiety rising in her heart.
Jiang Wan, standing nearby, also saw what was happening and couldn't help shouting out, "Watch out!"
However, just as everyone thought Tang Hao was about to find himself in deep trouble, he displayed astonishing agility. Faced with the converging force of two powerful fists, he decisively shoved Li Shuo away, skillfully ducked the punch from the left, and used his right elbow to block the attack from the right. This series of movements flowed as naturally as moving water, leaving everyone breathless.
In the span of a single instant, Tang Hao neutralized their combined offensive. Shock registered deeply on both men's faces; they realized they had run into a genuine master this time.
In that same fraction of a second, Tang Hao felt the impact of the Ming Energy cultivation radiating from the two men. He understood instantly that although they possessed Ming Energy, their internal force lacked ferocity, clearly having only reached the Ming Energy (Early Stage) level.
In the martial arts world of China, ancient martial artists' cultivation levels were divided from lowest to highest into Ming Energy, Dark Energy, and Transforming Energy. Each level was further divided into three tiers: Early Stage, Mid Stage, and Peak.
The force of Ming Energy was simple and unadorned, its fluctuations easy to detect and the easiest to master. Those who possessed this energy were usually much stronger in combat than ordinary people.
However, Tang Hao was no ordinary person. Not only did he possess a profound understanding of ancient martial arts, but his cultivation level far surpassed theirs.
Therefore, he could easily neutralize their attacks and even pinpoint the deficiencies in their cultivation.
After this brief clash, Li Shuo's fate was far from pretty. Shoved away by Tang Hao, his entire body crashed hard onto the ground, his face bruised and battered in a thoroughly pathetic state. Meanwhile, Tang Hao stood right where he was, as if nothing had happened at all.
Struggling to his feet, Li Shuo wore an expression that grew increasingly dark. He pointed a finger straight at Tang Hao and roared, "Kill him!"
The words exploded like thunder in everyone's ears, and worry immediately surfaced on the faces of Jiang Wan and Bai Xiaoxi. Li Shuo had always been known for his overbearing nature, and his words carried undeniable authority. Tang Hao's current situation was undoubtedly perilous.
The young security guard was also caught completely off guard. He had originally just wanted to watch the fun and see how they would discipline Tang Hao, never expecting the situation to escalate to the point where someone was out for blood.
The two men in suits exchanged glances, a ruthless glint flashing in their eyes. No longer treating Tang Hao as an insignificant nobody, they now viewed him as an enemy who had to be eliminated.
The man in the suit on the left lunged forward like a ferocious tiger, his fist tearing through the air straight for Tang Hao's vital points. The man in the suit on the right moved with the fluid agility of the wind, closing in rapidly as he relentlessly threw a punch at Tang Hao.
Faced with their fierce onslaught, Tang Hao showed not the slightest trace of fear. Having studied systematic fist techniques, he could tell at a glance that these two indeed had some foundational training, but they were definitely no match for him. He quickly assumed a defensive stance, his arms and legs staggered to form an impregnable line of defense.
Though their attacks were as violent as a torrential storm, Tang Hao remained as steady as a boulder. Relying on precise anticipation and agile reflexes, he blocked the opponent's attacks at precisely the right moments, over and over again.
This was no easy feat; it required supreme concentration and a keen grasp of combat rhythm. Yet Tang Hao achieved it effortlessly, thanks to his innate Exquisite Heart, which allowed him to accurately perceive his enemies' movements and secure an absolute advantage in combat.
The Exquisite Heart was an extremely rare and special physical constitution that granted Tang Hao extraordinary insight and control. In battle, he could perfectly mobilize every ounce of his energy to perform at his absolute best.
This ability made him peerless in marksmanship as well, even earning him the title of the military's top sharpshooter.
Right now, under the fierce assault of the two suited men, Tang Hao displayed his true strength. Aided by his Exquisite Heart, he accurately predicted the trajectory and direction of their attacks every single time, enabling him to respond with maximum efficiency. His movements were fluid and agile, and every strike blocked the enemy's attack to perfection.
Every single move they made seemed completely transparent to Tang Hao, baffling them as to why every meticulously planned strike of theirs was so casually dismantled.
"This kid's skills—aren't they a bit too absurd?" the suited man on the left muttered in disbelief. They had expected an easy victory, only to find their opponent's strength far exceeding their expectations.
The suited man on the right also wore a puzzled expression. "Yeah, but... he seems to only be focusing on defense, with no intention of counterattacking." While amazed by Tang Hao's defensive prowess, they were baffled by his purely defensive strategy.
Tang Hao seemed to overhear their discussion, a cold smirk curling the corner of his mouth. "Hoh... I'm afraid that once I actually strike, you won't be able to take it." The moment the words left his mouth, his figure suddenly shifted, his left and right fists driving forward like a sudden storm toward the two men.
Bang! Bang!!!
Two dull thudding sounds echoed out. Immediately afterward, two figures were sent flying backward like birds struck by massive force, before crashing heavily onto the ground a short distance away.
In their current state, the two men were no better off than Li Shuo. Knowing they were no match for Tang Hao, they decided it would be wise to get out of there as fast as possible. The suited man on the left struggled to his feet and said urgently, "Let's go! Protect the young master!"
The two quickly pulled Li Shuo up and bolted from the scene like panicked rabbits. Bai Xiaoxi and Jiang Wan witnessed the entire spectacle, completely stunned by Tang Hao's strength.
Bai Xiaoxi, in particular, had admiration sparkling in her eyes. " Wow... Xiaowang, the bodyguard your dad found for you is amazing! He took care of Li Shuo's two men in just a few moves. I actually know how strong those guys are, but I never expected them to be so completely useless in front of Tang Hao."
Jiang Wan also wore an approving expression. "Yeah, I didn't expect him to be this strong either. It looks like my dad's judgment is still pretty good—he's definitely qualified to be my bodyguard."
Although she spoke to Bai Xiaoxi, Tang Hao heard every word clearly. He understood that living under someone else's roof meant he had to follow Jiang Wan's orders; otherwise, he wouldn't get paid for this mission.
Checking her watch, Jiang Wan saw that it was quitting time. She turned her gaze to Tang Hao and said, "Pack your things and wait for us in the company's underground parking garage."
Tang Hao nodded, looking at Jiang Wan with a firm gaze. "Got it." He knew that even though he was currently dependent on others, given the chance, he would certainly prove his worth.
Shortly after, Jiang Wan and Bai Xiaoxi left the office, seemingly still needing to handle some company affairs. Meanwhile, the young security guard accompanied Tang Hao back to the security booth. Tang Hao picked up his luggage and hurried toward the underground parking garage.
Waiting in the garage, Tang Hao occupied himself with his phone while keeping his patience. He knew his new life had only just begun...
