Early in the morning, after waking up with a start from a dream, Lin Kaslana realized it was still quite early and that he had somehow changed into a different set of clothes. Figuring he would test whether his physical fitness had increased alongside his newfound growth, he headed over to the school playground. Zhang Lin thought to himself that a single lap around this playground was five kilometers, and he wondered if his stamina would be able to keep up.
A few minutes later, Zhang Lin was left completely bewildered. Even though he had grown up and gotten taller, his physical fitness hadn't improved at all—if anything, it had gotten worse. This left Zhang Lin feeling rather helpless.
Deciding it was time to grab some breakfast since a good while had passed, Zhang Lin turned to leave, but suddenly Theresa called out to him from behind. "Hey there, student, who are you? And why are you in our school?"
Zhang Lin turned back and replied, "Principal, it's me, Lin Kaslana. I don't know why, but last night I suddenly grew taller and even my appearance changed, which is why you didn't recognize me."
Theresa laughed and said, "Is that so! Well, Lin, were you heading out to buy breakfast? Could you pick up a portion for me while you're at it?"
Zhang Lin agreed and hurried off. Theresa chuckled to herself, thinking, "Do boys nowadays really grow up this fast? When will I ever grow up? That kid just now feels so familiar, like someone I know... and why are his eyes blue? Oh well, no point overthinking it. What are the odds of such a coincidence, anyway?"
Twenty minutes later, Zhang Lin reappeared carrying several bags of breakfast. "Principal, I wasn't sure what you liked, so I made a round of all the breakfast shops nearby. Here you go, Principal, take them all! I've got to get to class, bye, see you later!"
Theresa smiled, thinking, "This kid is something else, actually running around to so many places. Still, I really feel like I've seen him somewhere before, but I just can't remember the name. Oh well, there's plenty of time ahead, I can keep an eye on him."
Soon enough, it was time for Zhang Lin's dreaded practical class. Zhang Lin sighed inwardly, "Why do we have to do combat training? There's no way I can ever beat anyone."
After the spar between Yinyu and Lin Xie concluded, it was time for Kaslana and Bronya to face each other in a sparring match. Zhang Lin thought to himself, "Isn't this going to be the death of me? If Reason's Chariot hits me with even one blast, won't I be completely done for?"
Yet before the match even started, Bronya surrendered. Because Kaslana had helped Mei and Theresa in the Stigmata Space, she had deliberately thrown the match for him. Zhang Lin breathed a sigh of relief, thinking, "Thank goodness, I don't have to take a beating."
That night, Yinyu asked Kaslana, "Big bro, didn't I ask you yesterday what Bronya likes? You still haven't told me."
Zhang Lin thought, "What on earth is going on inside this guy's head?" Still, he answered him anyway: "If you're going to give her a gift, a Houm Doll would be best. A limited-edition one would be even better. I'm going to sleep."
In his dream, Kaslana once again found himself in the world from the previous night's dream. Aside from the man he saw last night, Kaslana spotted another youth holding a holy sword and wearing a suit of golden, glowing armor. Strange patterns pulsed around his body, and he was a knight accompanied by a flying dragon.
Then the scene shifted, and Kaslana saw a lone figure wielding a blade, single-handedly battling over sixty Demon Gods. On the other side of the battlefield, two white-haired men were also fighting several Demon Gods, though the scene wasn't entirely clear—Kaslana could only make out their general appearance, unable to discern any fine details.
The aura radiating from the knight was entirely different from that of those four men. The king-like presence of the knight merged with the holy sword as glowing red dragon markings lit up across his body, and riding his flying dragon, he engaged two Demon Gods in combat. In the blink of an eye—
Dawn broke. "Kaslana, time to get up. The Principal is looking for you."
