At night, a Kaslana repeated the daily training. The Kaslana understood that to survive in this world, the only way was to grow stronger oneself. Although exhausted to the bone every day and seeing not the slightest progress, the daily persistence continued nonetheless. "It's been almost half a year, hasn't it?" Himeko said to Theresa, who stood nearby. "Pretty much. I've been keeping an eye on him for half a year now. I used to think he lacked drive, but now I see he's a child who never easily gives up, possessing exceptional qualities and an ambitious heart," Himeko said to Theresa. "If you care about this child so much, why don't you just adopt him as your son?" "What are you saying, Himeko? Don't you care about him just as much?" In a dream, Kiana followed a shadowy figure into St. Freya Academy. Kiana asked the shadow, "Why did you bring me here?" "Nothing much. I just want to tell you that every single friend you've made now is hypocritical. Evil and falsehood are their true faces." The moment you have no value to us, we'll kick you aside without a second thought."
