The assessment officially began, starting with individual physical fitness tests. Muxi poured every ounce of her strength into each trial; despite her clothes being drenched in sweat and her energy reserves severely depleted, she grit her teeth and pushed through. Her relentless drive proved infectious to the surrounding recruits. One by one, they pushed themselves to the limit, resulting in the team passing the physical tests with high marks for the first time ever.
Once the individual tests concluded, the next day brought the far more critical team competition phase. The location for this assessment was a primitive forest thirty kilometers from the base. Ten teams, each with twenty members, were to compete fiercely within the expanse of these woods. For the next half-month, the base would provide no food or medical supplies. The team members not only had to figure out how to forage for food to survive, but they also had to remain constantly vigilant against ambushes from other teams.
If a recruit’s name tag was snatched or they were struck in a vital spot by a simulation firearm, they would be eliminated. The ultimate victory would go to the team that lasted until the end of the final day with the highest number of members remaining and the largest collection of name tags.
