The Council Hall, the Sect Master Hall, the Elder Hall, the Enforcement Hall, and the Task Hall—these five halls stood independent of the six peaks yet were encircled by them, situated atop a massive mountain. Six stone staircases led directly to each of them, forming the core area of the entire Shanyin Valley.
As their names suggested, the first four halls served their respective functions, while the Task Hall was the place where Shanyin Valley disciples accepted sect tasks and had them verified upon completion.
There was one for both the outer and inner gates, and the Task Hall that Xu Houtian and the others were heading to was naturally the inner gate's Task Hall.
