However, since they now had a few copper coins in their hands, they decided to stop by the apothecary together before heading home. Predictably, things did not go so smoothly. When they reached the apothecary, they were not even allowed to pass through the front gates. The people inside the apothecary said coldly, "A beggar dies, and that's the end of it—why bother seeing a physician? Countless beggars die of hunger every day; do you lot think you're any different?"
