One stack, two stacks, three stacks... Attendants carried medical books into Mu Tang's study again and again, until Mu Tang's desk was piled high with them. Mu Tang picked up a medical book, read a few pages, and frowned. This was unfamiliar stuff. Fortunately, however, Mu Tang had possessed a photographic memory since childhood; whatever he read once, he retained in his mind. Mu Tang read quickly, picking up one medical book after another and putting them down again. By sunset, he had finished reading them all. He stood up and stretched lazily. It felt so fulfilling. Mu Tang placed the medical books onto the bookshelf one by one. Having read them today, he could study them more closely in his spare time. These would be more than enough for his needs.
