A loud crowing of a rooster rang out clearly through the air. Mu Tang and Ning Zhen were darting back and forth across the rooftop. Ning Zhen momentarily lost focus—a rooster crowing already? Was dawn breaking? Had they been sparring for the entire night? Mu Tang had also heard the distant yet distinct crowing of the rooster. *How is it already getting light after what feels like just a moment?* Mu Tang thought. *This is way too fast.* It was genuinely disappointing that dawn was breaking to spoil the fun, and what made it even less satisfying was that they still hadn't decided a winner. Watching from below, Ning Yue raised an eyebrow. It truly looked like they wouldn't be able to determine a winner, which was somewhat regrettable.
