Chenli is structured roughly like a checkmark symbol, with a secondary, nested checkmark-shaped mountain range contained within it. The five major sects are distributed across this landscape. The Liuguang Sect of Mt. Yuyuan lies on the outermost plains of western Chenli; the Mingjing Sect of Mt. Jiankong is situated within the left side of the western checkmark-shaped range; the Taiming Sect of Mt. Xushen occupies the basin at the center of the range; the Zuohuan Sect of Mt. Meiyu is located on the right side; and the Huangyang Sect of Mt. Hongfu sits upon the outermost eastern plains, bordering the sea.
To the southwest of Chenli lies the Western Mountain Domain of Dachen. To the west, across the sea, are the Taiyuan Mountains, home to the Demon Spirits. The north is defined by a turbulent sea and the Far North Ice Plains, a region ravaged by perpetual blizzards. This ice plain is not a continent, but rather seawater frozen solid. It is said that beneath tens of thousands of miles of primordial black ice lie the remnants of the Ocean of Primal Creations, left behind by the Great Immortal Huaixu during the dawn of the world—a place of unfathomable power.
