Under An Jing's presiding guidance, rituals to worship the Sovereign Heaven, the Earth Mother, and successive generations of patriarchs went off without a hitch. The Dome Mirror in the sky no longer completely absorbed the light of heaven and earth; instead, while maintaining the brightness of a late dusk, it projected a sweeping view of Mingjing Mountain right across the firmament.
This enormous mirage—or rather, this gigantic "reflection in the mirror"—was aimed directly at the martial arts arena in front of the Nine Dharma Transmission Halls, resembling nothing less than an oversized cinema screen.
