Unlike the Concentration Dharmic Intent (Ning Shen Fa Yi), which does not inherently possess power of its own, the Destiny Grid naturally carries a certain amount of power. Within it, there is also either "a Divine Ability" or "a Cultivation Method." Even the weakest mortal Destiny, once awakened, grants its bearer supernatural abilities that surpass those of ordinary people.
Divine Will requires the bearer to absorb Spiritual Qi themselves, whereas the Destiny Grid comes with its own ability to absorb Spiritual Qi and can even filter Demonic Qi. With a continuous stream of wondrous capabilities, it far surpasses Divine Will.
Yet, in essence, the two are the same.
