The temple had clearly been abandoned for a long time, falling into complete ruin. Cobwebs stretched across every corner, and the main gates had vanished no one knew when. Faintly visible in the main hall was a single overturned incense burner stone tripod, spilling out vast patches of dark grey ash that seemed to speak of past glories. One zhang behind the stone tripod stood a half-body Buddha statue. The material of the statue was ordinary, and due to years of neglect, the upper half had snapped off and lay flat on the ground.
