Sukulu is now a city under Nanmeng rule. The situation in this region is incredibly complex.
The city closest to them is Wuyi, which is still firmly in the hands of the Nanmeng army; for now, the residents of Wuyi are relatively safe. Beyond Wuyi lies Sukulu, and past Sukulu is Duolubu.
Duolubu has fallen entirely under the control of the Qidan people. With the Khitan Army stationed there, any Nanmeng residents who could flee have already done so. Those who could not escape remain in the purgatory of Duolubu, living lives of utter misery. Infrastructure requires a population to maintain, so the people of Duolubu have not been subjected to mass slaughter, yet they live a life worse than death. The elderly are murdered, the men are forced into hard labor, and the women are either in hiding or dead. Those who can neither hide nor die have largely become the spoils of war for the Qidan soldiers.
