In 2048, crime has evolved faster than the law can keep up. The DRN series—robots designed to be indistinguishable from humans through the revolutionary "Synthetic Soul" project—were once humanity's greatest hope. Then they were branded "Mad Robots" and decommissioned overnight. Three years later, a new partnership forms between human detectives and their android counterparts as they face threats that blur the line between man and machine.
