Niannian and Suisui had gotten themselves completely covered in dirt while digging in the yard the night before, so after dinner, Kong Liu and Gu Chenxi gave them a bath together.
Suisui was very well-behaved, obediently letting the two of them handle it—raising a paw when told to, lying down when told to. It took only ten minutes or so to get it completely washed.
Niannian, by contrast, was not nearly as cooperative. It resisted entering the bathroom tooth and nail, and just catching it took a considerable amount of time.
