Chapter 13

The original goal was to tame a Giant Bidentate Pterosaur, but we unexpectedly gained a Giant Scorpion as a bonus. Riding a Giant Bidentate Pterosaur, I quickly returned home. This group of about seven small Giant Bidentate Pterosaurs inhabited the rooftops, including this giant one.
If I have time, I'll go find another Giant Bidentate Pterosaur to lead these smaller ones to defend the roof. Then, this giant one can stay by my side as a bodyguard or mount. Wáng Jùnjié truly coveted its flying speed. If not for fearing the defense of these smaller ones wouldn't be enough, I would have kept the Giant Bidentate Pterosaur by my side.
Wáng Jùnjié planned to start farming. Taming Herbivorous Dragons also yielded better results with vegetables. I created six plots of farmland, filling the small room I originally lived in, and planted black berry seeds.
Anyway, now that we have Mastodons, six plots of farmland are enough. I don't have vegetable seeds now, so I'll have to search for them when I go out to gather resources. Then, I need to build a water diversion system. The pond in front is sufficient.First, I'll insert the water diversion pipe and continuously build stone water pipes to connect to the water diversion pipe, leading the water to the farmland. After installing faucets and ensuring all farmland can be irrigated, I'll then divert a pipe from the farmland to the shower room. It's too troublesome to carry water for every bath.
Just as Wáng Jùnjié was busy, a Savage tribe located on the coast near the foot of the volcano was under attack. Surrounding them was a troop of well-equipped savages wearing bone jewelry and body paint. This well-trained group of savages watched their subordinates attack the slaves. These slaves were cannon fodder captured from various Savage tribes. When not fighting, they served as black slaves, but in battle, they were sent to the front lines to deplete the enemy's forces. This group of savages had already conquered no less than three Savage tribes, and with their affiliated savages, they had sent over a hundred reinforcements.
At this moment, the Savage tribe was engulfed in flames. Fierce fires consumed the thatch houses, and thick smoke shrouded the entire tribe. The sounds of slaughter rose and fell. The Chieftain of the tribe wielded his spear, hoarsely commanding his tribesmen to resist with their lives.
However, facing the enemy, they seemed to be struggling. This small tribe, with only about thirty people, was already overwhelmed just dealing with the cannon fodder. They usually made a living hunting Water Dragon Beasts and Dodos. Their strongest fighters could barely defeat a Dimetrodon, so how could they possibly contend with these savages from outside? He already envisioned the hardship that lay ahead and knew that only by desperately breaking through the encirclement and leaving this place could there be hope.
This small Savage tribe, numbering only a little over thirty people, survived by hunting Water Dragon Beasts and Dodos. Their strength was limited, with their strongest warriors capable of defeating a Dimetrodon at best. Now, facing such a powerful surge of enemies, with a formidable elite force lurking outside, they were already in despair.
The Chieftain glanced at the impenetrable enemy encirclement outside, his heart sinking. Faced with the chaos and bloodshed, a sense of despair washed over him. He knew that with their current strength, they could not possibly withstand the enemy's assault. Even with all their might, they could only buy time. His gaze swept across the surroundings, seeing his tribesmen fall one by one in pools of blood or being captured, a sharp pain pierced his heart.
The Chieftain took a deep breath and decided to lead the remaining tribesmen in a desperate breakout. He understood that only by escaping here could there be a slim chance of survival. He brandished his spear and led his tribesmen once again towards the enemy's encirclement, attempting to find a breakthrough.
The battle grew fiercer, blood staining the ground, and bodies piling up like mountains. The Chieftain led his tribesmen in bravely fighting the enemy, but the enemy's numbers were too great, and the pressure on them grew. The Chieftain knew in his heart that this battle might be their last chance; if they failed to break through, they would face utter annihilation, either death or enslavement.
One of the leaders watching the spectacle sneered at the defiant resistance. He felt a sense of disdain, thinking that their secret weapons wouldn't even be needed.
He glanced behind him at the two Raptors being held by others. These two Raptors were spoils of war captured last month, their mouths bound, pacing restlessly. Ever since the High Priest saw someone riding a Parasaurolophus, he had suggested to the Tribal Chief that they tame dinosaurs to strengthen the tribe. After sacrificing more than a dozen cannon fodder, they finally managed to capture the exhausted Raptors alive.
During this period, they subjected the Raptors to violent taming, and eventually, the Raptors submitted, though their ferocity remained, sometimes attacking friend and foe alike. After taming the Raptors, the Tribal Chief was in good spirits, already envisioning future dominance. He then rewarded his subordinates with an all-day and night feast, offering the captured women for their enjoyment. They had also captured many Herbivorous Dragons for violent taming, using them to transport invasion supplies. Any disobedience was met with severe beatings, and many of the transported Parasaurolophus bore numerous wounds.
Currently, they could only capture Herbivorous Dragons like Parasaurolophus, which had little offensive capability. However, after much effort and many cannon fodder casualties yielded no results, they gave up. Triceratops were herd animals; angering one would provoke an attack from the entire herd. After suffering losses, they decided not to provoke them anymore and instead targeted weaker dinosaurs. Fueled by extreme confidence from taming the Raptors, the Tribal Chief decided to invade scattered Savage tribes to capture black slaves and develop the tribe. The previous Savage tribe had already succumbed to the claws of the Raptors, so it seemed this time they could easily take it without even deploying them.
The minor leader's eyes gleamed as he looked at the captured women, his throat watering with desire. He longed to return quickly and report to the Chief to be rewarded with one or two female slaves.
Inside a burning house, a girl tightly gripped a blood-stained spear, hiding in a corner of the room. Five bodies already lay on the ground in the hall, two of them her parents. She had already killed two enemies who had broken in. Initially, her parents were caught off guard and attacked. Due to their strong resistance, the attackers lost patience and killed them. Both her parents were dead. When the girl came out and saw the scene, the man's eyes lit up upon seeing the beautiful girl suddenly appear, his wicked desire ignited. He wanted to enjoy her before taking her back alive as a reward. However, he didn't expect that he would face the only young girl in the tribe with the highest combat talent. It was she who led the hunts that defeated the Dimetrodons.
She had already killed three enemies who had barged in to loot. The girl quietly glanced outside. Seeing the impenetrable enemy, she was also shocked. She deeply understood that the tribe was doomed, and the place where she had grown up was about to be destroyed.
The girl hid back in the house, letting the fire rage. Suddenly, the sound of wooden clogs came from behind her. The girl turned around and gently stroked it, calming its uneasy heart. This beast, standing 2.3 meters tall, was a Pachyrhinosaurus.
This Pachyrhinosaurus was unknowingly tamed by the girl during her hunting trips. When she discovered it, she knew it was a docile herbivorous animal. The girl greatly favored these animals that didn't attack people; quietly watching them wander and graze carefree brought her joy. This was the first time she had seen this kind of striped herbivorous animal. She then quietly followed it, hiding in the grass, and took out an unknown plant from her backpack, which she had recently discovered tasted delicious even raw. She tried feeding it, and surprisingly, the animal ate the plant from her hand. It seemed to really like this plant.
After eating the girl's plant, the Pachyrhinosaurus stood still. The girl noticed its abnormality and ventured out. The Pachyrhinosaurus didn't panic when it saw her and just stood there quietly. The girl happily looked at this herbivorous animal, thinking that after eating her food, they had become friends. She tried to ride it. The girl had never experienced riding an animal before. As the girl carefully lay on the Pachyrhinosaurus's back and stabilized herself, the Pachyrhinosaurus slowly began to move. Riding on its back, the girl felt remarkably happy. Closing her eyes and feeling the wind rushing past, she thought this was the happiest moment of her life.
Unexpectedly, after running for a while, the Pachyrhinosaurus gradually became agitated, trying to shake her off. The girl didn't understand why her friend suddenly became so restless. The girl could only firmly grasp the Pachyrhinosaurus's neck to maintain her balance. The Pachyrhinosaurus became increasingly agitated, repeatedly jumping and kicking its legs, trying to dislodge the girl. The girl on its back thought: Perhaps it wants to eat that plant again? She took out a plant with one hand. The Pachyrhinosaurus smelled it, ate it, and then returned to normal, continuing its leisurely stroll.
Much later, the girl rode this unknown animal, which no longer rejected her, back to the tribe. The Chieftain was overjoyed to see the girl bring back a docile herbivorous animal and rewarded himself with a great meal upon returning.
The girl took her father's bow and quiver and slung them over her back. Her tribe couldn't make weapons like these. Her father had obtained them from a strange glowing object and, thinking it was a divine miracle, had kept it enshrined without ever using it.
The girl patted the Pachyrhinosaurus and mounted it. Because she had brought back this docile herbivorous animal, the doorway at home could no longer accommodate their entry. Her parents had worked together to enlarge and heighten the door, making it big enough for her to ride the Pachyrhinosaurus out. Clutching her spear tightly, the girl cast one last look at her parents, then resolutely rode the Pachyrhinosaurus out.
