It must be pointed out that those who strip the Infected of their human rights are often not the Infected themselves, but those high and mighty leaders who hold positions of power. They never experience the sufferings of the common people, and naturally they have never understood the true demands of the Infected uprising. This is precisely one of the fundamental contradictions generally existing in modern society—the contradiction between the demand of the Infected for the restoration of human rights and the widespread discrimination existing in society.
At the same time, the humanity of the Infected has never been stripped away; this does not conflict with the mindset of extremists who cast aside their own humanity. It is precisely this contradiction that drives the majority of Reunion Movement Infected fighters—at least the Gendarmerie Infected fighters—to fight with all their might for their ideal: the restoration of human rights for the Infected.
