CCTV's directors and producers would pop into the hospital every few days, bringing Shasha all sorts of little dried meats, nuts, and fruits. They wouldn't dare bring pastries or cakes, because the rehabilitation therapist said that eating things that are too sweet would affect the recovery of her physical functions. (Actually, they were mostly just afraid that little Shasha would eat too much, cut down on her exercise, and gain weight.) Shasha would say, "Oh, you really shouldn't have, no need at all, please don't bring anything next time," while eagerly reaching out to take them, smiling like a little squirrel. When asked about her first impression of Wang Chuqin, she had something in her mouth, her cheeks puffed out, tilting her head as she thought, "He was a pretty nice guy. When we first started and weren't close, he was really aloof; once we got to know each other, he was actually quite chatty. When we first paired up, we didn't talk much either, just during training."
