For the second match, Chen Meng faced Hina Hayata of the Japanese Team. Chen Meng played with fierce and decisive attacks, winning the first game 11-6. However, Hina Hayata mounted a comeback, taking two games in a row 11-8 and 11-9. Chen Meng started the fourth game with a lead, but midway through, Hayata turned the tables to lead 8-7.
