"Yes, see you next time. Safe travels," Ophelia said, her smile as gentle as a spring breeze. She waved slightly.
Ali stepped onto the path home with Kline, still lingering in the moment. She couldn't stop praising Ophelia, already looking forward to their next meeting. Kline, knowing how much Ali liked Ophelia, listened silently. He looked back at the Little Female who was busy greeting the males with such enthusiasm, and he, too, found himself looking forward to their next encounter.
