In Baldur's Gate, the castle hall featured soaring, exceptionally high ceilings painted with magnificent, grand murals depicting breathtaking scenes from myth and legend.
The gods, majestic or benevolent, were brought to life in brilliant colors, appearing as though they might step right out of the paintings at any moment. The edges of the dome were adorned with exquisite plaster moldings, intricate and delicate, with every line showcasing the artisan's superb craftsmanship.
The floor of the hall was paved with expensive marble, its natural grain resembling a work of art, alternating in black and white, warm and glossy.
