The illusion vanished. Orin dissolved into a mist of blood right before their eyes, disappearing without a trace. Ethemon was hardly surprised; after all, he had never expected to trap Orin here in the first place. Besides, he had merely wanted to say hello to his impatient little sister. Ethemon looked around. The circus remained as bustling as ever, with laughter and cheers echoing back and forth, as if the tense confrontation that had just taken place had never happened. People were either gathered around the juggling stage, marveling at the performers' daring skills, or picking out their favorite treats at the food stalls with relaxed and joyful expressions on their faces, completely unaware of the danger that had just passed.
