Chapter 10

"Young Master Yan!" This title made many onlookers gasp in shock.
In Jinling City, the only person who could be called Young Master Yan was Yan Hua, the eldest young master of the Yan Family.
However, what surprised the crowd even more was that this girl dared to treat him with such rudeness, even knowing who he was.
Clearly, this girl also came from an impressive background.
For a moment, everyone fell silent, standing aside to watch the drama unfold.
Hearing Tang Moxixi's words, the man at the front sneered, an uncontrollable anger burning on his face.
"I am Yan Hua, your fiancé, Tang Moxixi! Our engagement was decided jointly by the elders of the Tang and Yan families!"
The leading man spoke, and he truly was Yan Hua, the eldest young master of the Yan Family.
Glancing sideways at Ye Wushuang, Yan Hua then smiled with disdain. "Could it be that you've already gone behind my back and hooked up with this pretty boy?"
"An engagement set by the older generation doesn't count in the first place! I'll be with whoever I want to be with. Is that any of your business?"
Too lazy to deal with him, Tang Moxixi grabbed Ye Wushuang and tried to push past.
How could Yan Hua let them get their way? He had never failed to get any woman he set his eyes on, and that included the eldest miss of the Tang Family.
"Punk, don't say I didn't warn you—Tang Moxixi is my woman. If you dare lay a single finger on her, I'll skin you alive!"
With a gloomy face, Yan Hua pointed at Ye Wushuang, his finger almost touching Ye Wushuang's nose.
Ye Wushuang raised an eyebrow. He was precisely the kind of person who responded better to soft approaches than hard ones.
Especially after learning about the current state of the martial arts world, he cared even less about people coming to make trouble for him.
"What do you mean by laying a finger on her? Does this count?"
Ye Wushuang chuckled, suddenly sweeping his arm out to pull Tang Moxixi straight into his embrace.
The two of them stood in an intimate posture, their lower bodies pressed closely together with not a gap between them.
Tang Moxixi's face flushed a deep red instantly, and she tried to struggle out of Ye Wushuang's arms.
But then, realizing that Yan Hua was still glaring at them like a tiger eyeing its prey, a flash of inspiration hit her, and she simply decided to play along with Ye Wushuang's act.
As long as they could scare Yan Hua off, it would be a blessing.
As for whether Ye Wushuang would face retaliation from Yan Hua, Tang Moxixi wasn't worried in the least.
No matter how fierce the retaliation, the Yan Family could never do anything to a Martial Grandmaster.
"You're courting death, punk!" Yan Hua roared.
Seeing this scene, his eyes turned red.
To see his fiancée held in another man's arms, as close as skin to flesh—any man would find that unbearable.
"I'm not courting death, I like courting fragrance." Ye Wushuang wore a smiling expression.
He suddenly leaned in close to Tang Moxixi's neck, took a deep breath, and said with a drunk expression, "Smells so good."
"Get him! Kill him! I'll take responsibility if anything happens!"
Flying into a rage, Yan Hua actually gave a public order for his thugs to kill Ye Wushuang.
Those thugs looked at each other in dismay, but not one of them made a move for a long time.
They only hung around Yan Hua for free food and drinks, and the price they paid was just throwing a few punches and kicks.
To actually make them kill someone? That was something they certainly didn't dare do.
Not even Yan Hua's guarantee could change that; none of them dared to take such a risk.
After all, murder was no small matter.
In the end, to protect Yan Hua, the Yan Family would definitely push them out as scapegoats.
They might not be book-smart, but that didn't mean there was something wrong with their brains.
"Are you going or not?" Seeing that none of his lacklings were making a move, Yan Hua grew even more furious.
He glared at his thugs and shouted loudly, "I usually provide for a bunch of trash like you, and when the critical moment comes, every single one of you motherfuckers acts like a spineless coward!"
The thugs' faces flushed red from Yan Hua's scolding, but not a single one dared to talk back.
"Brother Hua, we wouldn't dare kill anyone, but breaking that kid's arms and legs shouldn't be a problem."
At that moment, a punky blonde youth spoke up timidly.
Yan Hua took a deep breath. "Fine! Help me cripple his hands and feet, and consider that the return on all the time I've fed you lot!"
Having calmed down slightly, Yan Hua realized he had been a bit too impulsive just now.
This was a large shopping mall with a high volume of people. Committing murder here—even as the sole heir of the Yan Family—would make it hard for him to escape the punishment of the law.
But if it was just breaking someone's arms and legs, that was much easier to handle.
With his family backing him up, the worst he would face was being invited to the Police Station for a cup of tea.
"Do it!" At Yan Hua's command, the few thugs behind him immediately roared and rushed toward Ye Wushuang.
"Idiots." Glancing at those people who seemed to have a death wish, Ye Wushuang used a trendy slang phrase he had recently learned.
In his arms, Tang Moxixi's expression shifted slightly as she softly warned, "Go easy on them, don't kill anyone. This is a society ruled by law."
Considering that he had just come down the mountain recently and wasn't yet very familiar with the rules of this world, Ye Wushuang shrugged and simply followed Tang Moxixi's advice.
With him making a move, ordinary people were naturally no match for him.
In just a matter of seconds, all of Yan Hua's thugs were lying on the ground, wailing endlessly.
"You're a hundred years too early if you want to fight me."
A look of disdain crossed Ye Wushuang's face, and he spat on the ground.
Then, his gaze shifted to Yan Hua.
"You... are you a martial artist?" Yan Hua's expression turned gloomy.
As the young master of the Yan Family, his discernment was naturally much better than an ordinary person's.
For Ye Wushuang to take down several of his thugs who held ninth-degree black belts in Taekwondo in mere seconds—unless he was a martial artist, Yan Hua couldn't think of anyone else who could pull that off.
Ye Wushuang couldn't be bothered to entertain him; he always believed in settling grudges on the spot.
No matter what young master you claim to be, if you dare send thugs to beat him up, he was definitely going to beat you back.
"What do you want?" Seeing Ye Wushuang walk toward him, Yan Hua's nerves instantly tightened.
When it came to physical combat, he certainly wasn't as good as his thugs.
Since even those thugs couldn't take a single blow from Ye Wushuang, if he dared to fight back, his fate would definitely be even more miserable.
"Young Master Yan, right? Let me ask you, have you had dinner yet?"
"What?" Yan Hua froze, clearly baffled by Ye Wushuang's nonsensical question.
He instinctively shook his head.
Ye Wushuang grinned. "Good thing you haven't."
His expression instantly changed, and he delivered a direct, heavy slap across the face.
"Then eat my big slap!"
*Smack!* The sound was exceptionally loud and crisp.
Yan Hua staggered back, clutching his face, glaring at Ye Wushuang in sheer disbelief.
"Your skin is so thick, it actually hurt my hand."
Ye Wushuang pouted slightly, his words guaranteed to drive someone to death's door.
Hearing this, Yan Hua flew into a rage.
It was already humiliating enough to be slapped in public.
Now the other guy was saying something like that, which clearly meant to mortify him completely.
"I am Yan Hua, the young master of the Yan Family! You dare hit me? Not only will you die, but your whole family will die with you!"
Yan Hua roared through clenched teeth.
His expression was ferocious as he glared at Ye Wushuang, his eyes bloodshot.
"What did you say? I didn't catch that clearly just now, say it again."
Ye Wushuang's face remained calm, showing not a trace of emotion.
"I said, I am the Yan Fa—"
*Smack!*
"Young Master!"
*Smack!*
"Yan Hua!"
*Smack!*
"Stop hitting me, I—"
*Smack!*
"I was wrong!"
*Smack!*
"Oh, why didn't you say earlier that you were begging for mercy? You made me waste an extra slap."
Ye Wushuang wore an innocent expression.
