Both its exterior walls and interior structures were dilapidated, overgrown with weeds, and filled with a gloomy, chilling atmosphere. In the pitch-black night, a gentle breeze stirred, producing strange, eerie sounds from within the house that made one's skin crawl. Inside the Lu family ancestral hall, a tattered lantern swayed in the wind beneath the eaves, and the only remaining door creaked rhythmically as it swung. Within, the ancestral tablets, covered in thick layers of dust, seemed to shift under the faint moonlight filtering through, appearing both bizarre and terrifying. Yet, in the incense burner on the table stood a few stubs of incense, curling with thin wisps of smoke, indicating that someone had recently offered prayers.
