After the group was sucked into a dark space by that powerful suction force, they felt the world spinning and their heads swimming.
When everything calmed down, they found themselves inside a massive underground palace. The surrounding walls were embedded with strange gems that emitted a faint glow, barely illuminating this mysterious area.
"What kind of ghost place is this?" Bajie muttered, gripping his Nine-Toothed Rake tightly with a look of vigilance.
Subodhi glanced around, furrowing his brow, and thought to himself, "This place exudes a bizarre aura; we must proceed with caution."
Wukong scanned the surroundings with his Fiery Eyes of Truth and said, "Master, Old Sun feels this place is not simple. We must be doubly careful."
The group walked forward cautiously as a slight tremor came from the ground beneath their feet. Suddenly, a huge stone door appeared ahead, carved all over with mysterious runes.
Subodhi stepped forward and carefully observed these runes, trying to decipher their meaning.
Just then, a sinister laugh came from behind.
"Hhahaha, Subodhi, don't even think about leaving this place today!"
The group turned around to see a tall demon god appearing before them. This demon god was named Luo Hou, and his entire body radiated a dense, evil aura.
Subodhi gave a cold snort. "Luo Hou, you fiend, how dare you try to block my path?"
Luo Hou laughed loudly. "You have Wukong's true spirit within you. If I obtain it, my power will surely increase greatly!"
With that, Luo Hou brandished the demonic sword in his hand and charged at the group.
Subodhi showed no fear. With a wave of his staff, a series of Taoist Magic talismans flew out, transforming into a golden light that met the demonic sword.
With a deafening "boom," the light and sword qi collided, stirring up a powerful wave of energy.
Seeing this, Wukong shouted, "Monster, take Old Sun's staff!" As he spoke, he swung the Ruyi Jingu Bang and rushed toward Luo Hou.
Luo Hou sidestepped to dodge and countered with a sword thrust toward Wukong. Wukong nimbly evaded, engaging in a fierce battle with Luo Hou.
Gonggong and Nezha also unleashed their respective divine powers to assist Wukong. Gonggong manipulated the currents to form surging water dragons that charged at Luo Hou. Nezha hurled the Universe Ring, which transformed into a golden halo and smashed toward Luo Hou.
However, Luo Hou possessed formidable strength and handled them with ease; for a time, the group struggled to gain the upper hand.
Realizing the situation was turning unfavorable, Subodhi chanted an incantation and unleashed a powerful Taoist Magic spell—the Supreme Divine Thunder. Suddenly, the sky grew dark with rolling clouds and intertwined lightning. Bolts of lightning crashed down toward Luo Hou.
Luo Hou's expression changed slightly as he hurriedly channeled his demonic power to defend himself.
Just as the two sides reached a stalemate, the massive stone door slowly opened, and a powerful suction force poured out from within.
"Not good!" Subodhi exclaimed.
Before the group could react, they were sucked inside the door.
Inside the door was a massive labyrinth with intricate, winding corridors filled with dense fog.
"Everyone, don't get separated!" Subodhi shouted.
Yet, hampered by the thick fog, the group gradually dispersed.
Wukong wandered alone through the labyrinth, feeling extremely anxious inside. "Old Sun must find Master and my junior brothers!"
Suddenly, a giant spider dropped from the ceiling and lunged at Wukong. Wukong brandished the Ruyi Jingu Bang and engaged the spider in combat.
On the other side, Subodhi was also running into trouble. A mysterious figure appeared before him, shrouded in darkness so that its face could not be seen.
"Who are you?" Subodhi asked.
"Hmph, I am the Chaos Demon God, and today is your day of death!" With that, the Chaos Demon God launched an attack.
Subodhi calmly met the challenge, continually wielding his staff as he engaged in a life-or-death struggle against the Chaos Demon God.
Bajie lost his way in the labyrinth and felt terrified. "Is old Pig really going to meet his end right here?"
Just then, he heard footsteps and nervously raised his rake. "Who's there?"
It turned out to be Shaseng finding Bajie. The two of them let out sighs of relief and continued searching for the others.
Meanwhile, Nezha and Goggong were also struggling to find the exit while dealing with an endless stream of monsters.
Just as the group fell into dire straits, Wukong relied on his Fiery Eyes of Truth to discover the pattern of the labyrinth. He found the others and led everyone marching in one direction.
After a grueling exploration, they finally made it out of the labyrinth. However, what awaited them was an even more terrifying scene.
In a huge plaza stood dozens of demon gods, led by none other than the chief of the demon gods, Pangu. Holding the sky-splitting axe, Pangu said with an imposing and majestic air:
"Subodhi, hand over Wukong's true spirit, or today will be your doom!"
With a resolute gaze, Subodhi replied, "Never! Even if I must risk my life, I will protect Wukong's true spirit!"
With that, Subodhi took the initiative to attack, his staff blazing with brilliant light.
An earth-shattering battle broke out then and there. The various demon gods unleashed powerful spells; for a moment, light flashed and energy surged everywhere.
Under the joint assault of numerous demon gods, Subodhi gradually felt himself growing overextended.
Just then, Wukong suddenly erupted with formidable power, the Ruyi Jingu Bang radiating boundless light.
"Old Sun will fight you to the death!" Wukong roared, charging toward the demon gods.
Inspired by Wukong, the group rekindled their fighting spirit and engaged the demon gods in a desperate struggle.
After a fierce and bloody battle, the group finally repelled some of the demon gods. However, they were all heavily wounded and utterly exhausted.
"Master, what do we do now?" Bajie asked, panting heavily.
Subodhi looked into the distance and said, "Press on. We shall not stop until our goal is reached!"
Supporting one another, the group continued onto the Journey to the West.
Yet, little did they know that further ahead, even more challenges and dangers awaited them...
After walking for a distance, the group arrived at the foot of a mountain. This mountain soared into the clouds, wreathed in mist and exuding a mysterious aura.
"Master, this mountain looks unusual," Shaseng said.
Subodhi nodded. "Caution is paramount. Let's go up the mountain and take a look."
The group began to climb the mountain. The mountain path was rugged and difficult to traverse, with giant boulders tumbling down from time to time.
Suddenly, a gust of howling wind swept past, carrying countless ice blades within it.
"Not good! It's the Wind God Feilian's magic!" Wukong shouted.
Subodhi hurriedly cast a spell, forming a protective shield to fend off the ice blades. But the ice blades came relentlessly, and the shield gradually developed cracks.
Just as the shield was about to shatter, Wukong stepped forward, causing the Ruyi Jingu Bang to expand and blocking the majority of the ice blades. Taking advantage of the opening, the group quickened their pace and climbed to the summit.
At the summit, the Wind God Feilian revealed himself and sneered, "You can't escape!"
Subodhi shouted angrily, "Feilian, you fiend, cease your insolence!"
The two sides engaged in a fierce battle once more. During the fight, Subodhi discovered Feilian's weakness and unleashed a powerful spell that struck Feilian.
Injured, Feilian fled.
The group pressed on, and shortly afterward, they arrived before a wide river. The river water was rapid and turbulent.
"With this river being so perilous, how are we supposed to cross?" Bajie worried aloud.
Subodhi pondered for a moment and said, "I shall cast a spell to build a bridge."
Just as Subodhi was preparing to cast his spell, a massive water monster suddenly rose from the river. The water monster opened its blood-red maw and spewed a powerful torrent of water, rushing toward the group.
Wukong hurriedly stepped forward to meet it, engaging the water monster in combat within the river. After a bitter struggle, Wukong finally defeated the water monster.
Seizing the opportunity, Subodhi cast a spell to build a bridge, and the group successfully crossed the river.
In the days that followed, the group encountered attacks from various demon gods, enduring countless hardships and dangers. Yet they never gave up, moving resolutely toward the west.
Finally, they arrived before an ancient castle. The castle gates were tightly shut, and an eerie aura pervaded the surroundings.
"This is likely another fierce battle," Wukong said.
Subodhi took a deep breath and said, "No matter what, we must force our way through!"
The group pushed open the castle gates; the interior was pitch black. Suddenly, countless torches flared to life, illuminating the entire hall. In the center of the hall sat a mysterious figure.
"You've finally come," the figure said slowly.
Subodhi looked closely and saw that it was none other than the demon god Nuwa.
Nuwa sneered, "Subodhi, do you really think you can succeed?"
Subodhi replied, "Nuwa, you cannot stop me!"
The two sides began the final decisive battle...
