The group continued their journey with the scrolls obtained from the temple. They had not traveled far, however, before they found themselves trapped in an eerie swamp. The area was filled with a nauseating stench and a constant bubbling of gas, as if the land itself were waiting to ruthlessly swallow anyone who dared tread upon it.
Wukong held his Ruyi Jingu Bang, carefully scouting the path ahead. He prodded the ground continuously, testing the terrain for safety. "Master, this place is far too dangerous. We must be cautious," Wukong said, glancing back.
Subodhi nodded slightly, waving his fly whisk gently to guard against any unseen dangers lurking nearby.
