The campsite was located on a patch of dry clearing at the edge of the wetlands, close to Hong Mountain.
Since the sun was about to set, there was no time to cut timber and build houses, so temporary tents were pitched one by one instead.
Equipment was unloaded into the clearing. Under remote control, a total of thirty-six insect-repellent metal rods hummed as their rotors drove them down from high into the earth, leaving only half a meter of their upper ends exposed, encircling the entire campsite.
