Baishui Mountain After Menghao passed away, Emperor Donghua fulfilled his previous promise by treating Ji Heng, temporarily suppressing the Qiushu poison within her. Due to the very nature of the Qiushu poison, there were only two ways to neutralize it: either the poisoned person spent several years slowly dissolving the toxin within their own body, or someone else willingly transferred the Qiushu poison to themselves, though that person would then need ten times as much time to neutralize it. Donghua's current plan was to temporarily suppress the Qiushu poison in Ji Heng so it would not kill her immediately, and then send her to Fanyin Valley, where the turbid Qi was thinner, to slowly recover.
