Atop Zhasha Peaks, the fierce battle had finally ceased. The sharp claws of the Brown Bear Demon King were stained with fresh blood, which dripped continuously from the tips, pooling into small crimson puddles on the ground. Its once glossy, ink-black claws were now dyed a deep red, exuding a pungent, metallic stench of blood. The ground was littered with corpses lying haphazardly in every direction. Some had been torn apart by the Brown Bear Demon King's razor-sharp claws, while others had been charred black by spells. The various gruesome sights were simply too horrific to behold. Meanwhile, Black Wind and his men from the Black Wind Stronghold stood off to the side, watching the casualties with amused smiles. They looked like a group of indifferent spectators standing upon a bloody battlefield, cruel smirks hanging from the corners of their mouths. The members of the Black Wind Stronghold were dressed in matching black martial attire, the dark fabric appearing even more somber against the backdrop of the surrounding blood-thickened air. In their eyes, these people were merely greedy fools who had hurled themselves blindly at the Brown Bear Demon King for the sake of the spirit liquid, bringing such a fate entirely upon themselves.
