Upon hearing Tony's words, Brown stood frozen in place and said, "There is a new element in there that can free you from the effects of palladium poisoning. Besides, that is the legacy your father left you—why won't you even take a look? And your father was one of the founders of S.H.I.E.L.D., so whatever is in there must be extremely useful. Are you really going to give up on yourself just because of palladium? This is not the Tony I know."
Hearing Brown's words, Tony lowered his face mask, sat down on the sofa, and hung his head in silence, leaving it impossible to tell whether he was crying or not. After a long while, he finally stood up and walked toward the room where his father's legacy was stored.
Looking at the videotape left to him by his father, he muttered, "You're still lecturing me from beyond the grave."
