Brown returned to his room and sat on the sofa, turning on the television, though his mind was far away from the screen. Gwen came out of the bathroom to fetch some clothes and, seeing Brown sitting dazed on the sofa, gave him a light slap and asked, "Where are the plane tickets?"
"The concierge booked them, but they haven't been delivered yet. They'll be brought straight to our room when they're ready."
"Alright then, I'm going to take a bath." With that, Gwen slipped back into the bathroom.
