Seeing Spider-Man rush toward him, the doctor ripped off a car door and hurled it. Spider-Man dodged the first one, but not the second. At that moment, the police arrived, raising their guns and aiming at the doctor. Left with no other option, the doctor grabbed Aunt May from the crowd to use as a hostage.
Doctor Octopus climbed the wall to escape, but Spider-Man intercepted him.
"You can't escape, surrender now!" Spider-Man shouted at Doctor Octopus.
Doctor Octopus, however, was unimpressed. He sneered and said, "Do you think I'm afraid of you?"
He gripped Aunt May tightly with his mechanical arms and threatened, "Kid, if you don't want her to get hurt, let me go!"
Spider-Man was frantic with worry, but he knew he couldn't let Doctor Octopus succeed. He quietly activated his spider-sense, preparing to find an opportunity to subdue Doctor Octopus.
Just then, a laser beam shot toward Doctor Octopus, but his mechanical arms dodged it. It turned out that Iron Man had arrived at the scene.
"Mr. Stark!" Spider-Man cried out in surprise.
Iron Man flew up in front of Doctor Octopus and said, "Put the lady down, you octopus!"
Realizing he was outmatched, Doctor Octopus threw Aunt May toward Iron Man and seized the opportunity to flee the scene.
Iron Man caught Aunt May, flew down to the ground, and asked with concern, "Are you all right, ma'am?"
"I'm fine, thank you for saving me," Aunt May said with a smile.
