As she pressed the button, the second wife waited expectantly to be teleported away, but nothing happened—absolutely nothing. At that moment, the formation—its lethal gate now forced open—began to shake and shudder violently, sending intense tremors through the entire area. To the utter disbelief of everyone present, the ground in this hall of blooming flowers, this space planted with so many blossoms, began to ooze thick, ink-like black water. As the black water soaked into the roots of the flowers, every single bloom withered away instantly. In the space of a single breath, the scene shifted directly from a tender, flower-strewn spring into a withered winter. Everything changed in a split second. "How is this possible? How can this be? Move, hurry up and teleport me away!" the second wife shrieked in terror. Staring at the bubbling black ink, her eyes filled with absolute horror; she no longer cared about leaving them behind.
