Chapter 1193

Enveloped by a boundless, glowing tree in an endless void, Li Dai heard a sound resembling Buddhist chanting. It sounded like a chant, but was likely a unique language of the tree, or perhaps simply a song. Though Li Dai could not understand its language, she was nevertheless intoxicated by it. The more she listened, the more she felt her entire body surge with strength. The tree in her Dantian—which had stubbornly refused to develop properly—began to mend itself frantically. Through the "fruits" on this great tree, she beheld visions of myriad changing worlds: spring blossoms and autumn fruits, peaceful years, cruel wars, human ugliness, joyous passion, and cold indifference. Every state of existence felt thoroughly real and present. To Li Dai's profound astonishment, the interior worlds of each fruit borne by this void tree—she did not know its true name and temporarily called it the void tree—were entirely different. Some were filled with love and joy, while others overflowed with coldness and malice.
