Yanyan had successfully bound the Heavenly Fortune Bracelet to himself, and the inheritance of the fat old man resurfaced in his mind. This time, he no longer felt like a stranger to the bizarre, ghost-like golden inscriptions on the Inheritance Bead. Instead, he felt that every stroke and line contained the profound laws of the universe, bathing his soul and his entire being in a warm, radiant glow. As he watched, the golden characters on the Inheritance Bead slowly faded, replaced by a phantom figure performing strange, intricate movements. Yanyan rose to his feet, and as if guided by divine inspiration, he began to mimic the phantom's gestures. At first, his movements were stiff and agonizingly slow. Yet, it was as if the phantom could sense his thoughts; whenever Yanyan failed to execute a motion correctly, the figure would repeat it over and over until he performed it with perfect, fluid grace.
