When Li Dai woke up again, she found herself in a forest swept by the rustling autumn wind. Everything before her eyes was bathed in gold. First came spring, then winter, and now autumn. Li Dai felt she was beginning to grasp something, but whenever she tried to think deeply about it, she could not quite sort out the clues. As the autumn wind blew, she shuddered. Though the weather here was chilly, it was far better than the previous world of howling winds and freezing snow. Li Dai stood up and discovered that the deadly sense of exhaustion had vanished, and even the wounds on her hands were healed. Pondering for a moment, she realized this was most likely the bracelet's doing. Well, although this bracelet was quite the glutton and often set her up for trouble, it still looked out for her after all! As Li Dai was lost in thought, sudden wolf howls echoed all around her: "Awooo... Awooo..." Shocked, Li Dai turned her head and saw dozens of massive, yellowish-gray wolves staring at her hungrily, drool dripping continuously from their jaws. Her mind went completely blank. Her body reacted faster than her brain—stopping all thought, she simply took to her heels and ran for her life.
