Jiang Liubai’s expression darkened for a fleeting second, his eyes turning pitch-black as he fixed a piercing gaze on the uninvited guest. He patted Qin Muyang on the shoulder, the force of his palm carrying an unmistakable warning. "Very well." Qin Muyang shuddered, sensing that things had gone south. He understood that Brother Liubai was reprimanding him for interrupting them and warning him to watch his tongue. He couldn't quite explain the sour feeling he’d had earlier while watching them interact from a distance; without a second thought or regard for the consequences, he had simply rushed over. Yet, even though he had annoyed Brother Liubai, he felt not a hint of regret.
