The tremors of the Divine Kingdom traveled from the ground up to the clouds. As the white jade eaves collapsed, the resulting shockwave overturned a rice jar on a street corner, causing a rag doll in the arms of a young woman in a coarse hemp dress to tumble onto the shattered tiles.
