The production proceeded in an orderly fashion. Ever since the novice Chen Hao directed Liu Yifei in a scene and showed off a few tricks, Andrew Lau had recognized him as a true producer and showed him much greater respect on set.
Andrew Lau sometimes found it strange. Compared to Chen Hao's deep familiarity with the script and mastery of the plot, Liu Yifei, the screenwriter, seemed more like a freeloader.
