Not long after, Kiana and the others returned with a core. At the same time, Yeye received a message from Otto.
"Head to the church to catch up? Who's going to believe that lame excuse? He's just trying to trick me into going over there so he can take me out, right?"
"Then does Master still intend to go?"
Yeye let out a leisurely yawn, and the Blade of True Self appeared in his hand.
"Ha, why wouldn't I? The power of the Six Eyes is even stronger than before, and after experiencing the True Self, the Blade of True Self will undergo a slight upgrade based on my consciousness."
With a single step, Yeye instantly teleported to the entrance of the church. He pushed open the doors and stepped inside, whereupon chains instantly shot out from the doorway and bound him.
"My old friend, trust you've been well. You're still as careless as ever."
A blonde man holding a golden cube stepped out from the shadows.
"Otto, trust you've been well too, but I've changed."
Otto suddenly noticed that the Blade of True Self previously held in Yeye's hand had vanished. Otto whipped around, a large golden greatsword appearing in his hand.
With a single swing, it clashed against a massive blue blade, sending fierce sparks flying.
"Old friend, watch your back."
Yeye appeared behind Otto and threw a punch straight at him, but Otto let out a light chuckle.
"Old friend, did you really think I wouldn't have anticipated that?"
Another Otto appeared behind Yeye, wielding Abyss Flower and thrusting it toward him.
Yet Abyss Flower passed straight through Yeye's body, and the Blade of True Self returned to Yeye's hand.
Yeye slashed forward, sending the Otto holding Abyss Flower crashing to the ground, the sword in Yeye's hand pointing right at him.
"Let me see what you're truly capable of now that you've seized the Herrscher authorities!"
"Very well, my old friend. I hope you can defeat me."
The surrounding scenery shifted instantly; the walls vanished, and a gigantic tree materialized in the distance. The attire on Otto's body began to gradually transform.
"The Tree of Imaginary? It seems you've already begun to grasp the power of the tree, but for me, that's far from enough."
A Light Cone appeared in Yeye's hand, and the surroundings instantly reverted to the church. Otto felt his connection to the Tree of Imaginary snap.
"Old friend, you still have so many tricks up your sleeve. You cut off my connection to the Tree of Imaginary, but I still have other powers."
A field of energy enveloped the entire church, and Yeye felt both his internal Qi and Honkai Energy experience some turbulence.
"So this is the true Authority of Binding? It's certainly different from Judah's."
"That's not all, my friend. I also possess the power of the Herrscher of Domination."
Otto attempted to siphon Yeye's power, only to be met with the sight of a pair of blue eyes, whereupon the siphoning progress was instantly severed.
Recovering quickly, Otto unleashed streams of golden threads in an attempt to bind Yeye, but Yeye dodged every single one of them.
Seeing Yeye hurl the Blade of True Self at him, Otto easily dodged, only for the blade to suddenly change direction and charge at him once more.
Otto was forced to divert a portion of his focus away from controlling the threads to deal with the Blade of True Self, yet the blade proved exceedingly nimble.
It successfully evaded Otto's slashes time and time again, as if someone were manually guiding it.
Glancing into the distance, Otto noticed that Yeye was looking right at him, while his body automatically dodged the incoming threads.
Yeye hadn't placed any of his focus into dodging the threads at all; instead, his entire attention was devoted to controlling the Blade of True Self against Otto, because his body was fully capable of automatically evading the crisscrossing threads on its own.
