The Courtyard Angler

In a bustling Beijing courtyard community, one man refuses the grind of factory life. Instead, he masters the art of fishing—both literally and metaphorically—navigating neighborhood politics, scheming neighbors, and the complexities of everyday survival with wit and patience. While others tighten screws for meager wages, he casts his line and waits for opportunity to bite. A slice-of-life tale where cunning beats conformity.
