"Shengsheng, wait!"
Lu Wensheng turned back to see Lu Qingtang, dressed neatly and emerging from their rented room, radiating vitality like a little sun. "I’ve never been to school in my entire life. I want to see what it's like..."
Lu Wensheng’s expression shifted slightly. "...School... there's nothing fun about it..."
Lu Qingtang seemed to ignore the terror in her eyes, her smile bright. "I grew up abroad, and the person who raised me taught me everything personally, which meant I never had the chance to attend school."
"Now that I finally have a chance to experience it, is Shengsheng unwilling to grant me even this small wish?"
Lu Wensheng’s face turned even paler. "It’s not that..."
"It’s okay. I left something on the table for you to look at." Lu Qingtang patted Lu Wensheng’s shoulder gently before snatching her backpack with almost forceful ease. Her eyes turned icy, though she kept smiling. "If I find it’s not 'fun,' I’ll come back immediately to trade places with you. Don’t be afraid."
Without giving Lu Wensheng a chance to refuse, Lu Qingtang stepped out the door. "Xingxing, protect your master! Call me if anything happens!"
Xingxing wagged its tail, blocking the path of the panicked Lu Wensheng, effectively stopping her from chasing after them. It let out a "woof," signifying that it would definitely complete its mission.
Lu Qingtang carried Lu Wensheng’s backpack, grabbed two steamed buns from the pot, and headed toward Qin University with her large eyes narrowed in anticipation.
She was looking forward to seeing just how many "surprises" were waiting for her at Lu Wensheng's school.
***
Qincheng University.
Lu Qingtang took out Lu Wensheng’s books and located her classroom: Freshman Computer Science.
Lu Qingtang’s gaze swept over the words "Computer Science." A flash of something unreadable crossed her eyes before she stepped inside.
The moment she appeared, the previously noisy classroom fell into a momentary silence.
Immediately after, countless malicious and mocking gazes landed on her.
A smile blossomed on Lu Qingtang’s face—a smile so radiant it could be described as excited—and she walked toward the back of the classroom with perfect composure.
As her feet touched the aisle, countless legs stretched out from under the desks.
Lu Qingtang acted as if she hadn't noticed the malicious attempts to trip her. She kept walking, smiling, eyes fixed straight ahead.
When she encountered the first "roadblock," Lu Qingtang didn't hesitate. She lifted her foot and brought it down with violent, decisive force directly onto the most fragile joint of the person's ankle.
*Crunch.*
Accompanying the teeth-grinding sound of bone fracturing, the arrogant expression on the male student's face twisted instantly. He curled his large frame over the desk, unable to even scream due to the sheer intensity of the pain.
In that brief delay, Lu Qingtang had already walked a significant distance without a change in her expression.
Wherever she went, if she encountered an obstacle, she simply delivered a clean, decisive kick.
By the time the others in the classroom realized something was wrong, all the boys who had tried to trip her were already lying on the floor, their faces distorted.
This unexpected turn of events stunned the students who had been waiting to watch the show.
They looked at the boys writhing on the ground with pale, blue-tinged faces, then at the unscathed "Lu Wensheng," and were filled with shock.
"Lu Wensheng, what did you do to them?!"
Lu Qingtang tilted her head slightly. Her beautiful face wore a sweet smile, but there was no warmth in her eyes, only a chilling, murderous intent. "If feet aren't used for walking, then naturally, they should be done away with."
The group’s expressions darkened.
However, they merely assumed that Lu Wensheng had gotten lucky, or perhaps had taken so much abuse that she just happened to land those kicks by chance.
Completely unaware of the gravity of the situation, the group saw the boys in such agony that they randomly picked a few people to take the "injured" ones to the infirmary, then refocused their energy on righteously "judging" Lu Wensheng.
"Lu Wensheng, they were just joking around with you! Did you really have to go that far?!"
"Exactly! Doesn't everyone joke around like this all the time? Why is it okay for everyone else but not for you? Don't be so sensitive!"
Lu Qingtang opened her eyes wide, smiling as she watched the boys being carried out.
After an Achilles tendon is severed, it can potentially be reattached if treated promptly. But the school infirmary didn't have the sophisticated equipment for that.
Who would have thought that a single, casual kick from a girl could snap an adult man’s tendon?
Because of this delay, these men’s legs were destined to be completely ruined.
Another day of ridding the world of vermin!
Lu Qingtang curved her large eyes, smiling happily. She turned her gaze toward the girl who had spoken. "So, the tricks you play are called 'joking around,' huh? Then let me play a joke on you, too. How about that?"
The girl met Lu Qingtang’s clear, icy gaze and felt a tremor in her heart.
But after realizing that she was actually afraid of "Lu Wensheng"—someone anyone could bully—the girl became furious with embarrassment and stood up, shouting, "Lu Wensheng, who the hell are you pretending to be?!"
"Everyone knows you're an unwanted mongrel!"
"So what if I bully you? You have no father or mother; even if we bully you to death, you'd deserve it—ahhhhhh—"
The malicious abuse suddenly turned into a sharp, distorted scream.
Lu Qingtang had suddenly lunged forward, grabbed the girl by her hair, and dragged her toward the window as if she were trash.
Facing the stunned silence of the room, Lu Qingtang stepped onto a desk, opened the window, tossed the girl out without the slightest effort, and then shut the window.
Only a clump of hair remained, dangling precariously from the window frame.
After finishing, Lu Qingtang clapped her hands, turned around, and looked smilingly at the group of people stunned in place. "As long as the hair doesn't break, she won't fall all the way down."
She thought for a moment, then added with a face of pure, harmless innocence, "It’s fine if it breaks, though. We’re on the fifth floor. You won't die from falling, at most you'll be permanently disabled."
Facing the dead silence, Lu Qingtang curled her red lips, her gaze cold, and offered a brilliant smile. "Well? Everyone, was that a fun joke?"
