Jing Changming shook his head and said, "We probably don't need to prepare much. If you're devout, you could fast and bathe beforehand, but right now we're about to eat meat by the mouthful, so talking about fasting and bathing seems—haha!"
Li Dahai said, "Sincerity is what matters, it doesn't matter. You can skip the fasting; if I go a single meal without meat, I won't even have the strength to walk. Just take a bath before we go."
After eating their fill, Jing Changming asked Li Dahai for guidance on Blade Qi and Sword Qi, and Li Dahai taught him everything he knew.
