Chapter 25

Her heart suddenly began to ache. She looked around in a circle; as far as the eye could see, there was only a vast expanse of white snow. She stood there all alone on the glacial snowy plain, as if she had been abandoned by heaven and earth... Xia Yueyou squatted down on the snow, lowering her head as she clutched her chest. She felt an unbearable tightness in her heart, and threads of red suffused the corners of her eyes. "Xuanchen..." Her vision grew somewhat blurred. Amidst the blur, out of the corner of her eye, she caught sight of a dark figure walking up to her. "Chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp." Xia Yueyou lifted her head abruptly, only to see a silly, clumsy penguin. The "penguin" gently patted her with its small wings.
